What Families Receive


Brown Bag

The Brown Bag includes essential items like breakfast foods, snacks, peanut butter and jelly, Ramen noodles, cereal, canned fruit, powdered milk, and toilet paper. Available items may vary by week.

Choice of Two Meal Kits

All the ingredients to make two complete meals from the week’s recipe options.

Bread

Each family receives a loaf of bread.

Pantry Staple Recipes

We provide pantry staple items, as well as perishables, to make simple, nourishing meals possible. Along with ingredients, we provide recipe cards. They’re simple. And delicious.

Chicken & Rice
Ingredients: White Rice, 1 Can of Chicken, Chicken Broth
Cook 1 cup of rice according to instructions on the box, but substitute chicken broth for water. Add chicken and toss. Salt and pepper to taste!

Ham Mac & Cheese
Ingredients: 1 Can of Diced Ham, 1 Box of Mac ‘n Cheese, 1 Can of Seasoned Bread Crumbs, 2 Tablespoons Butter
Preheat oven to 350. Cook Mac ‘n Cheese using recipe on box. Fold diced ham into mac ‘n cheese and pour into a baking dish. Melt 2 Tablespoons butter and combine with 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. Spread bread crumb mixture over mac ‘n cheese and bake for 20 minutes.
